Here's a sneak peak of our first Italian shoot. It was so fun, so early, so hot and so exciting. We're happy to bring some physical elements of TB's over here and are loving our darling model, Teona, and my new assistant Lisa.
When I travel I love that similar patterns or colors jump out to me from one place to the next. I recently saw this building in Rome and that book in Florence. Loving this color combo and the jagged-ness of the design.
I've had to really distract myself this week! The 4th of July is pretty much my favorite holiday. I'm truly so thankful for our freedoms and those that serve. Being out of the country makes me realize on a whole new level how blessed we are to live in such an amazing country full of opportunity, growth and hope.
Like many, the 4th is such a family time for me. I wish I was able to be home with Tys and around all of my family in the red rock country where we go to celebrate cowboy style. My extended family are those people that literally all wear red, white and blue, are in the local parade with a truck bed float and have a talent show at the outdoor family bbq accompanied with adult egg tosses that can get super slimy. We end the night like many, with pie and a family fireworks show that consists mostly of sparklers unless someone made the sometimes journey to an Indian reservation in Nevada to pick up some real deal fireworks. I miss being together with them, catching up and being a part of their lives in person for a few days.
I have gone to the store to buy watermelon every day this week so I guess that's how I'm consoling myself, so silly!
I hope you all got to do some happy 4th of July traditions and spend time with your loved ones this 4th!
Sigh! I love this hotel in Verona, Hotel Trieste. It is such eye candy to me and I pop in about every month to visit their current funky mix of flowers on display. I love the eclectic style that this hotel holds. The rugs, the wood, the vertically styled pillows, milk glass vases and randomness that works just gets me.
How fun are those curtains? So rad they thought to do different colors on each panel and pull it together with the shade in the middle.
Loving the mega huge spotlight, metallic trunk and that bright green pillow to shake things up.
Shift your pillows vertical for a change, love this idea!
And the hotel just keeps on going with their style savvy lobby. I really like the plaid mix and that metallic dog.
This wall hanging would be such a fun DIY with loads of different fabrics all stitched together. I really like the colors that pop and the metallic that shimmers, it looked great on the wall and draws attention to the fantastic wall paneling.
I'll have to post their Autumn flower arrangements in a few months so you can see more of their magic!
